bringing hand-rolled NY style bagels to Albuquerque
bringing hand-rolled NY style bagels to Albuquerque
Open since June 2022, Kaufman's Coffee & Bagels is more than just a place to enjoy a cup of coffee (treat yourself to one of our favorites, an oatmilk honey lavender latte!) or a real-deal-NY-style-boiled bagel from the mind of a New York-to-New Mexico transplant himself. We're a space for community and connection where people of all walks of life come together to share stories, laughter, and a genuine sense of belonging. Where the baristas know your name, and of course the hand-rolled, artisinal bagels are truly incredible too.
All bagels are made in house starting before sunrise and throughout the day - stop by and you can even watch every step of the process through a kitchen window! Want to know more about how we do it? Our knowledgeable and passionate bakers and staff would love to tell you how we get our bagels juuuuust right. The menu is inspired by local and classic flavors and crafted with care, and every item tells a story of collaboration and shared values. We regularly donate bagels to community organizations and mutual aid groups as well as through direct distribution with our unsheltered neighbors in the downtown area. These bagels are made with love!
Be sure to check out the local art featured on our walls and stay tuned for events like art openings/closings, book clubs, pop-up sales, music performances, workshops, and the endless possibilities of events and gatherings that happen here. We can't wait to welcome you into our space.
